Prior to entering private practice, Gae spent 13 years in local government mainly in development control, but also in Local Plans and she values the insight that experience afforded her, particularly in relation to the more political aspects of development schemes.

She has academic qualifications in both geography and planning.
She has had considerable experience in all aspects of development of various scales including residential
/commercial and leisure schemes and relishes negotiating solutions to planning problems wherever possible. She is an
experienced witness at public inquiries and has expertise in development plan work.
