Steven has spent the majority of his professional career in private practice following two spells in local government in his early days.

His academic background is in geography and environmental planning giving him a broad base which enables him to take a balanced view of proposals. In private practice he has dealt with a wide range of development proposals including housing, commercial projects, retail and business parks and leisure schemes. He is an experienced professional witness at public inquiries including those into
development plans.
